ATTICA -- Funeral services for Steven John Foster, age 86, of 601 S. Perry St., who died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, June 19, at the Williamsport Community Hospital, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Roemer Funeral Home. The Rev. James L. Nealeigh, pastor of the Attica First Presbyterian Church, officiated and burial was in Beulah Cemetery, southeast of Attica. Mr. Foster, who had been hospitalized since February, was born July 29, 1877 in Shawnee Township, Fountain County, the son of Newton and Harriet Fagg Foster. In 1900 he married the former Edna Meeker, who preceded him in death in 1935. He was a member of the Beulah Christian Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of the Moose in Attica. He is survived by: two sons, John Foster of Coldwater, Mich., and Herbert of Liberty Center; one daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Nelson of Sioux City, Mich.; two brothers, Dan Foster of Attica and Ralph of Decatur, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Burlington of Attica Rt. 1 and Mrs. Andrew Osterling of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Robert Clark, and a brother, William.  --typed by Walt W
